Finito Baby!

The time has come and I'm really happy!  The last time I'll ever get the 'Scholors' bus to school, the last time I'll ever wear my uniform, the last time I'll ever sit a GCSE in that exam hall! Woo, you may have guessed but I'm finally free as I had my last exam today. It was a chemistry resit so say no more. Just another reminder to myself - Prom is on Thursday :) Ahh, I'm buzzing that my exams are finished!

I wish I was doing something exciting this summer, especially because we have ten weeks off until I start sixth form. I really want to make this summer count but all I have to look forward is camping in August. Can't wait to see how that turns out. Me and my mam must be mad to agree to go but I'm sure it will be fun as the rest of my family is going and her friend, partner and baby. Not forgetting my cocker spaniel and my mam's friends two springer spaniels.

I'm not really sure what else to write today so I'm going to love you and leave you :) Have a lovely day!

So Sweet!

You may have already seen these videos before but I'm going to post about them here. So much thought has went into these and I think they're so sweet! Would you be as embarrassed (in a good way) as I would be if this happened to you?

Destination Love: Croatia

Hello again! Croatia is not a place that I have always desired to go to one day. To be quite honest, I wasn't that sure where it was on a map (apart from that it was on more of the east side of Europe). That's right isn't? *finds a map on google* and I hardly knew anything about the country or places that are sightseeing hotspots.
Since then I have done a little research on the country but I was first kinda 'attracted' to it by photos I had seen in holiday brochures. The country, sea, towns look so beautiful. Now, it is one of the places I wish to travel to.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Rabac, Croatia

People of Croatia supporting their country in the World Cup

Plitvice National Park, Croatia

Paradise Beach in Lopar, Croatia

Rovinj, Croatia

Roman ruins in Split, Croatia

Zagreb Cathedral, Croatia

Dubrovnik, Croatia

21 Accents

Some of these accents are really good and spot on! Enjoy and I'll be back soon with another 'Destination Love' Hope you're having a great week :)

Two To Go

Yep, here's another post about exams but it's just a quicky. Two more to go: Geography tomorrow and Chemistry next Tuesday then Prom on the 30th June. I can't wait until these exams are over, I can get rid of books and revision materials I no longer need and never put on my uniform again. Literally, I'll be free!

Everything's ready for prom - except the tan! But with this rubbish British weather it will most definitely be a fake one - nothing orange though! I can't wait to show you photos from the day later next week :)

Destination Love: The Rainbow Nation

I have a great love for somewhere that I've never even been before. South Africa is one place that I've always wanted to visit. It goes further than going on a safari, I want to see the culture, experience the African community and their traditions. I just want a peek into how they live their lives, see the wildlife, see the attractions.

One place that I really want to visit is Cape Town. In my eyes, it brings together what Africa is initially about.

Near Port Elizabeth, is a game reserve called Addo Elephant National Park. I love elephants, as you all know, but they just don't have elephants, the big five are there too. It looks amazing and as a bonus it's in a malaria free zone!

Seriously want to see this in real life!

[This post is the first of a new 'feature' I will be doing on my blog. As you all know, I want to travel a lot when I'm older and actually have the money to do it instead of fantasizing all day long. This new feature is called 'Destination Love' and I will be sharing with you the destinations I would love to visit. I won't be posting this on a specific day but will be posting one or more per week]

Genius!

My two favourite comedians: Alan Carr and Michael McIntyre. I can wach clips of them on youtube for hours and they never fail to crack me up. I laugh like an idiot because they are just so funny! My parents are going to see Alan Carr live later this year - jealousy right here! But Michael McIntyre is going on tour in 2012 and I would love to see him!

Michael McIntyre:

(I have a nut allergy but I still find what he says hilarious! Watch it & you'll know what I mean) Sorry this is just a link but for some reason it won't allow me to upload it on here :/

Sorry Tumblr

Instead of having a tumblr and 'reblogging' these images of various tumblrs and weheartit, I would like to 'reblog' them on my blog instead. When I first got blogger over a year ago, I created a tumblr account but I didn't give it a name or post anything and then I deleted it. I have debated about getting tumblr again as my friends have now got an account but I only really want to focus on one thing; my blog. I have random on the brain, so off I go with a whoooole lot of images. Some of these are relevant to me today, are any relevant to you? Let me know :)

Potterhead.

I thought the official trailer for the new Harry Potter film had actually already been released and I watched it a few times. But yesterday, on both my BT Yahoo homepage, heat.com and twitter, it was saying it had just been released. So being the curious me, I clicked on the link whilst thinking: where have they been for the past few weeks, stuck down a hole? Anyway, I watched it and it's actually quite different from the one I had already watched. I'm not really sure which one is the official 'official' one - if you get what I mean. (I won't be surprised if you don't, I don't understand myself sometimes haha) They're both really good!

This just made me more excited for the film release in July! I would say I'm a fan even if I haven't read the books - for some reason, I just couldn't 'get' into them. It was probably because three of the films had already been released when I tried to read them. It's so weird to think that it's coming to an end now, how long has it been ten years or something? Wow. Anyway for my lovely bloggers, here are both in case you've only seen one or the other :)

The one I had originally seen:

The one I found out about yesterday:

'we will fight to the death, to the edge of the earth'

I find that with music I go with through phases of listening to one band non-stop for days/weeks. I listened to Rihanna, Adele and The Wombats for months non stop - honestly. I've had 30 Seconds To Mars - This Is War album on my iPod for a while and it never gets old. This is my latest album, which I'm constantly listening to and I haven't listened to it for a while. I'm actually listening to it now - hence the title of this post. [Song - This Is War]

Just a small warning this is a bit of a mix-match post. Only four more exams left! Three next week and one the following week after that. Thank god! It feels like they have been lasting for ages, I can't wait for prom on the 30th of this month. It's going to be a really surreal experience. I still can't believe that my time at secondary school has practically ended and with letters inviting me to 'bridging days' at my new sixth form in July coming through the post, it's making everything seem so much more real! Pretty excited though :)

I've also been revising for another of my history exams today and this song seems pretty fitting as the unit for this particular exam is to do with the Germany 1919-1945, where we learnt about the beginning of the Weimar Republic, the rebellions, how Hitler became chancellor, and how he set up his dictatorship; including Hitler youth groups and the persecution of Jews. I love learning history and I'm studying it further at A-Level and at degree when I finally go to university but I'll be pleased when the exam is over. The hour and a quarter you get is way not enough, and I'm always writing until the last minute. Not forgetting (definitely not forgetting) the amount of things you need to know including dates and what not.

What have you all been up to? And, sorry I haven't been replying to your comments on my blog. I've just chose to return a comment on your blog instead but I've been reading every one as usual :)

Itch

I'm itching to travel, experience new things and to do so many amazing things. I want to see the Northern Lights, see the Big Five in Africa, fly over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, lie on a beach on the coast of South America, go shopping in New York, visit the ancient Greek monuments, go sight-seeing in Australia and go on a gondola boat in Venice. I want to see how different people live, understand their traditional values and learn from their cultures.

Animal Kingdom

Firstly, I would like to say how much I'm over the moon with the responses to my last post - I love you all!
Secondly, I told you all I would be back! and now I'm going to get on with my post :)

I love so many animals but one animal that I would love to see in real life is an elephant. I have so much respect for elephants, in my eyes they are amazing and very intelligent. I really want to visit South Africa one day (I have a post coming up soon about this), go on a safari and see the big five but most importantly see one of these magnificent creatures in action. Yes, I'm declaring my undying love for them right here, right now.

One of my favourite films I have seen this year is Water for Elephants. Seriously, it's such a great film: sad, romantic and has a gorgeous elephant in it. This film made me love elephants even more. I bought the book and another one recently but I have actually stopped myself from reading them - with great difficulty. I wanted to wait until after my exams because I knew for a a fact I would not be able to put the books down and I would get zilch revision done. I'll leave you with this little cutie: :)

To My Followers:

I love blogging! I was intrduced last May by a friend who already had blogger and after a few weeks I was pretty much addicted. I love being able to post a variety of things; my daily life, things I want to do, things I like and dislike and find out so much more about my lovely followers. I've said this before but I'll say it again: getting comments off fellow bloggers and getting new followers makes my day. It lets me know, that what I say is relevant to other people too and it's not always a load of crap!

This brings me to my next thing - HELLO NEW FOLLOWERS! Sixty may be quite small to some people but to me it's a lot! I thought my blog would never get this many followers o if I did it would have took longer than it has. I know it's not supposed to be how many followers you have but I think it makes a huge difference if people around the world are actually listening in. Having followers has allowed me to make my posts and my blog better in my eyes.

Blogger allows me to find new blogs which I love and people that have the same interests as me. I love reading a blog and thinking 'There's someone else that loves/hates that too!' but more importantly to me I love reading a blog and thinking 'Wow! I want to go there someday!/ I want to do that someday!' From blogs, I learn new things, which I may not have fully understood before or find out something completly new! I think it's a great way of learning new things from people just like me all around the world.

This may have sounded a little bit like a goodbye post but I promise you it isn't. I'll be back with a post tomorrow or the day after. This post is really my way of saying a big thank you to all my followers, to all those who comment or read my posts and also a thank you to the people I follow for making me want to try new things and making my dreams come a little bit closer by learning new things! I wish someday that I could meet the people who I see as Blogger Friends :)

Here and There

I'm following quite a few blogs that on a certain day of the week, they often share some 'link love' and so today I'm giving it a go! So here are some links that I've loved this week when I've been browsing the web here and there. Hope you have a great day!

I love this pink colour

Talk about a great living room!

Wow, how cool is this!

I would wear this for prom but it's out of the price range

This is such a summery song!

I want to be here right now

Take A Bow

oh, and the award for the best liar goes to you
for making me believe that you could be faithful to me
let's hear your speech out

how about a round of applause?
a standing ovation?

but you put on quite a show, really had me going
but now it's time to go, curtain's finally closing
that was quite a show, very entertaining
but it's over now
go on and take a bow
